Re: English Spam Thread and General Rubbish
Bruised ribs are not as bad as internal bleeding and not as bad as having both.... but I feel your pain...Stuart wrote:To be perfectly honest, I cannot recall doing anything that might have resulted in bruised ribs. I just awoke Tuesday morning with the pain. I'm assuming it's bruised ribs, because I had bruised ribs once before from a sporting injury and it feels exactly like it did that time. But I cannot possibly tell you what I might have done.

I've never had internal bleeding. I do not recall anything quite as painful (uncomfortable?) as bruised ribs. It hurts when I breathe heavily, when I cough, when I sneeze, and when teh redhead jumps all over me. At least it's the kind of thing that passes with no lasting effects.FreddieP786 wrote:Bruised ribs are not as bad as internal bleeding and not as bad as having both.... but I feel your pain...Stuart wrote:To be perfectly honest, I cannot recall doing anything that might have resulted in bruised ribs. I would probably relent under such circumstances. However, I have no intention or organising such a competition.Tribble wrote:I agree - we should do a blood drive. Each province can do one and we see which province has the bloodiest members. Just before December - then it will help the country's supplies. They could even do a whole thing in the magazine - and have photos of the staff members donating.
Edit: Although it would be interesting to see who might consider donating if a thread was started . . .

Re: English Spam Thread and General Rubbish
I used to donate as often as I could in high school. Don't know why I stopped. Its not good... I should go and donate sometime.
I am really scared on needles so I tend to close my eyes and grab the bed with all my strength. Funny that I am not scared of taking a punch or a kick, but needles make me whimper like a little girl....

That's why I stopped Muay Thai Kickboxing...... I had both..... I must admit that fight got really out of hand.... I took a couple of knees to the ribs and kidneys.... but some really hard knees.....Stuart wrote:I've never had internal bleeding. I tend to avoid punches and kicks as much as needles.FreddieP786 wrote:I used to donate as often as I could in high school. Don't know why I stopped. Its not good... I should go and donate sometime.

Don't be daft. Little girls are not nearly as scared of needles as grown men are.KatrynKat wrote:thats cause you are a little girl!!FreddieP786 wrote:I used to donate as often as I could in high school. Don't know why I stopped. Its not good... I should go and donate sometime.

I gave up Muay Thai Kickboxing when . . . oh, wait, I never took it up. If I did, I probably would've given it up when Van Damme made Kickboxer. Wouldn't want to be associated with the man.FreddieP786 wrote:That's why I stopped Muay Thai Kickboxing...... I had both..... I must admit that fight got really out of hand.... Someone said something rather nasty about you the other day. In jest, of course. But I forget who it was and what they said.
It was probably Jim.
