Bruised ribs are not as bad as internal bleeding and not as bad as having both.... but I feel your pain...

I've never had internal bleeding. I do not recall anything quite as painful (uncomfortable?) as bruised ribs. It hurts when I breathe heavily, when I cough, when I sneeze, and when teh redhead jumps all over me. At least it's the kind of thing that passes with no lasting effects.

I would probably relent under such circumstances. However, I have no intention or organising such a competition.

Edit: Although it would be interesting to see who might consider donating if a thread was started . . .

I used to donate as often as I could in high school. Don't know why I stopped. Its not good... I should go and donate sometime.

I am really scared on needles so I tend to close my eyes and grab the bed with all my strength. Funny that I am not scared of taking a punch or a kick, but needles make me whimper like a little girl....

That's why I stopped Muay Thai Kickboxing...... I had both..... I must admit that fight got really out of hand.... I took a couple of knees to the ribs and kidneys.... but some really hard knees.....

Don't be daft. Little girls are not nearly as scared of needles as grown men are.

I gave up Muay Thai Kickboxing when . . . oh, wait, I never took it up. If I did, I probably would've given it up when Van Damme made Kickboxer. Wouldn't want to be associated with the man. :P

Greetings, infidel.

Someone said something rather nasty about you the other day. In jest, of course. But I forget who it was and what they said.

It was probably Jim.
