Morning All,
So I have been given a task to find software that can interface with our many varied printers and generate a usage report (deadline the 1st of November ) so what software do you lot use?
I am investigating Papercut because it is fairly cheap and seems to interface with everything without having to create special ports, something I would love to avoid.
So the requirements for the software:
Cheap
Easy setup
Can interface with any printer.
The majority of our printers are now on a 2008 Server that is acting as our print server and domain controller. So if 2008 has a way to collect and generate reports natively that would be awesome as well.
Thanks for the assist!

Re: Printer Reporting Software
Hi
Papercut looks like a good solution to your problem.
I just glanced over the doc's and as my understanding that papercut actually looks at the print queue.
you can go the SNMP route if you need to interface directly with the printer but that would be much more involved
as you looking for easy setup.
