how the hell you make animated pics ive got paintshop pro 8 and thats bout it. i was wondering how the hell would a person acomplish this i have no flippin' idea please someone fill me in on this

You have software that can create animated gifs. I use a freeware app called "Unfreeze". I lost the URL but a google would be wise

You need to have a few frames to piece together in these programs first, before you can get any use out of them.

Well, I use Adobe ImageReady CS.

It works like a dream .......

EDIT NOTE: This is far from being 'freeware' though .... so you need to have the latent cash lying around.

The easiest to begin with is animation shop pro which comes with Paint Shop Pro 7 and there is a unlimited trial somewhere

:twisted: yeah, painshop pro is good but isnt there any other gif prog that has more power for you to do things?

GIFs by their very nature are limited, but only in terms of the number of colours and how much file size you have to play with. The program you're using doesn't limit you in any way in terms of the actual creativity and artwork - that comes down entirely to your own skills.
