hi guys, i was wondering if someone could help me out
google earth is being a pain.
it locks up my whole system for a few seconds, unfreezes it, and then freezes it again, this goes on until i eventually get to closing it. it done this before and after i did the newest update. i've run it in direct x and opengl modes, still does it.
i've even put off anisotrpic filtering, aa, and any other prettyness feature i can find.
I doubt it can be the internet connection, as i have a 4mb mweb adsl line.
it also messes around with the textures. as you can see:

I'm running xp with 2gb ram, 1.8gb celeron 430 and an nvidia 9600gt
so, any ideas, or does google hate me?

Re: google earth lagging up entire system
They mostly are, but sometimes the port is blocked, or virus-removal is needed.
AAAANYWAY.
Try a different driver maybe? Or try reinstalling?
