If they want to complicate things they could tune it back down to 3 classes: warrior, rogue, mage and from there on let them branch into specialist classes. eg Warrior into a berserker that can duel wield 2 handed weapons or a paladin that is more focused on holy spells and shields. Rogue to a ranger and something else. I just cant imagine stealth as part of the hack and slash setup. And Mage can go into elemental, arcane or dark arts. Something along those lines.

Diablo III's fifth character class is the Demon Hunter, Blizzard announced at BlizzCon 2010 today.
Chris Metzen, Vice President of Creative Development at Blizzard Entertainment, told a packed hall of Blizzard fans that the fifth and final class for upcoming Diablo III will be a dual-crossbow wielding Demon Hunter.
The Demon Hunter appears to be the Diablo III successor to the Rogue from the original Diablo and the Amazon from Diablo II. The ranged class features a major focus on projectiles, including throwing knives, grenades, bola, and bows, some of which can be combined with magic spells.
The game's other four classes are the Barbarian, the Witch Doctor, the Wizard, and the Monk.
The sequel to popular action role-playing game Diablo II was announced at Blizzard's World Wide Invitational in France in the summer of 2008. Since its unveiling, Blizzard has regularly updated the game's frenzied fans on the latest developments for the game. They haven't, though, ever announced a hard release date.

I had a link to the official diablo 3 class page but I got distracted before posting. I actually saw this from gametrailers.com but they arent pic/vid link friendly.
meh... it's the amazon/rogue with a fresh lick of paint...
they've effectively stuck to a winning formula... so now we have
wizard==sorcerer
witch doctor==necromancer/druid
demon hunter==rogue
barbarian==chartered accountant
monk==paladin/assasin

ROFL Why is the barbarian a chartered accountant?

Ok for those of you who don't want to download the massive 461MB version of the trailer but still want to see it in HD, I've re-encoded the movie using H264 & AAC. The only difference now is that it is 350MB smaller.
If its up to Bobby then maybe. Blizzard however might release something else. The problem ofc is your stuck to battle.net which is something that microsoft wont allow. PSN is becoming steam compatible.
