ECS H57H-MUS Motherboard review

Hardware
Intel’s current range of chipsets do not have support for USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gbps, which has left motherboard manufacturers the chance to offer these as an added extra. The general method for deployment is by bolting on third party controller chips. This works out perfectly for the SATA 6Gbps but when it comes to USB 3.0, the I/O panel has a limited amount of space which usually means that two USB 2.0 ports have to be sacrificed. The problem is further compounded by the H55/57 chipset’s requirements for HDMI, DVI and VGA ports which eat up back panel real estate
