Noooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! How could you?! Do you know how much trouble that 2010 version causes?! Clearly not! You want to stay faaaaar away from it. I used it at my "client from hell" - even the support people could not fix the problems it caused. Dropped it for Avast and did not have any of the same issues.

I am serious - I don't care how free it is - you would not be able to get me to use it again

Probably a free licence if you register WITHIN 24 hours? :| The title is misleading.

Actually, it's all logical and obvious what it means. I was playing on the misleading title. You really think I actually thought it would be free to use for 24 hours. hahaha-----haha---------ha.......mmmmmmmmmmm

No it's not. The title clearly says "free for 24 hours". I find it ambiguous.

I'm sure there are better free Anti Viruses out there (Avira, Avast). I've heard stories about Bit Defender. I'm sure as hell not gonna let it defend my bits!

Even if they paid me to!

I am so glad some of you are seeing sense. I will never use this again - no matter how much a client offers to pay me.

Ok, maybe Bitdefender is trying to bounce back. Since 2008, BD hasn't been satisfactory. They used to be one of the better av's. Now I don't touch it with an enemies pc. They know people don't like BD so they know ehat the problem is and they will rectify this and get back there at the top. Just doesnt seem soon though.

Take Norton for example. I am thrilled at the way they came back into the market. Sure, they've lost a lot of customers but gained others. Norton 2009 and 2010 are the best to me. I haven't got anything that protects as well or performs as well as Norton regarding system performance.

Symantec lost me and so has Bitdefender. I have never had so many problems as I did with their 2010 version. I will not go back.
