Linus Torvalds is reportedly unhappy with the quality of work that contributors to the Linux kernel have been delivering. The latest stable version of the Linux kernel (2.6.35) was released at the beginning of August 2010 after Torvalds decided that Release Candidate 6 would be the final RC. The Linux kernel is at the heart of all Linux distributions such as Ubuntu

Linus here.
I'm sick and tired of this shoddy coding that you have all been doing.
If you don't shape up I'm going to... going to...
Well there's nothing I can really do since you all work for free.
Nevermind.

Re: Torvalds issues warning to coders
Nice to see Linux fundies admitting to bad code.
I would have thought the shoddy coders are all employed by Microsoft and Macintosh.
I was certain all the unemployed basement dwellers who spent all day recompiling Linux kernels and writing drivers and Windows emulators for Linux were incapable of even one syntax error, let alone whole batches of shoddy code....
The mind boggles!
