In Cape Town, and I'm pretty limited to where Metrorail can get me. No luck trying the places around Cavendish this afternoon.

(I couldn't pre-order because of uncertainty of which part of the country I would be in come July 27th, and of course by the time I knew, it was too late.)

Hey Guys/Gals

I just signed up this morning and who would have thought my first post would be on a Starcraft Thread

This game is too nice. I had a good look at the difference between ''Ultra High'' Settings and ''High'' settings, I must say that a game like this needs to played on Ultra Hi as there is just tooo much detail you cannot afford to miss. I did also notice that Shadows dropped down to Med. didnt make a difference to the naked Eye (atleast my eyes lol) as well as the Frame rate!

P.S: the arcade game in the Canteen just owns  A game within a game = Priceless

Or you can try eBay. Why you never just pre-ordered and had it delivered to your home and then make plans to have it posted down to you I will never know.

It's finally here, courier just dropped it off, was hoping that it would have arrived on Friday afternoon but sadly I missed the 24 hour delivery by 10 minutes, d'oh!

Now the wait until I can get stuck in, yay!

We should start a PCF SC2 clan or something....

I still suck pretty bad at 1v1... I'm at about a 1:1 win loss ratio

Although my latest strategy of a 15 minute push with marines siege tanks and vikings looks promising...

It's also getting crazy difficult to complete the later single player missions on hard.
I have still not been able to finish the last of Zeratul's missions on hard, despite trying 4 times yesterday.

I hate playing games on hard, get very frustrated repeating the same mission over and over, much prefer the normal mode.

The Normal mode is too easy for me.
I literally breeze through it hardly breaking a sweat.
Then flip the coin and in Hard mode I spend every moment and cent just fighting to stay alive - never-mind complete the tasks assigned.
It's gotten to the point where I attempt a mission on hard 2 or 3 times, then give up, play it on normal and pwn the computer.
It's just frustrating because I have zero chance of achieving all the bonus points in the missions as one of them is always only awarded on the hard setting

You're not the only one complaining about this, I've read a number of similar complaints on other forums.

Just a warning to those that haven't finished the game yet, make sure you either have a save game on the level media blitz somewhere or don't start the Char missions until you have unlocked the secret mission, or else you will end up finishing the game with 25/26 missions completed. Somewhere on the media blits level you do something that unlocks a secret mission. Afaik you can't go back to that mission to unlock it once you have completed the game. :(

Big thanx for the Heads up on the secret mission.

I tend to play the mission on Normal difficulty but make it a point that I wipe out the Entire map of Enemies . Once there is nobody alive but me , i'll complete the mission.

Funny thing about SC2 is that once you kill every1 on the map , the mission just ends even if you have not completed you main objective . This happened to me in the "Welcome to the jungle" mission. Other then that its loads of fun.

So seeing as I can only start playing work tonight, I took it upon myself to read through the back-story in the quickstart guide during my lunch hour. Man, what a tale, would actually make for a pretty cool sci-fi movie (bordering on soapie, lol)
