Richard Garriott nets $28 million in court

Post by Drakonis »

Money for nothing
Space tourist, Ultima creator and former NCsoft employee Richard Garriott has won his case against the games developer, to the tune of $28 million (R206 million in our currency). He had instituted the lawsuit after parting ways with NCsoft. The manner in which he left was part of the court action as he claimed that he incurred considerable losses as a result

NCSoft - dismissing? Unlikely.

Garriott failed on his recent MMO developments , and missed what Ultima was made of, or at least forgotten why Ultima was a success.

Leaving NCSoft as well as a show of a recent failed MMO that failed to attract enough attention to remain premium - is clearly a sign that any loss is brought upon himself.

I personally think he is looking for a reason to blame someone.
