Viacom loses $ 1 billion case against Google

A court ruled in favour of Google yesterday in the copyright infringement case brought against the company by Viacom over copyright infringement on YouTube. The reasoning for this is that Google/YouTube removed the offending videos as soon as they were notified of them, complying with the current Digital Millennial Copyright Act
