Does the Internet mess with our heads?

Post by Drakonis »

A bit hefty for a Friday morning
The question being asked by author Nicholas Carr is ‘What is the Internet doing to our brains?’ This is the subject of a new book titled The Shallows: What the Internet is doing to Our Brains. Carr apparently found himself getting some practical experience with the Internet’s influence while researching the book.

This is quite possible to a certain degree. With the evolution of technology, we will evolve with it, and so our brains will adapt to a different way of thinking.

Evolution and adaptation is completely natural, and that is how we got to where we are now.
