WTH is up with Incredimail?

Post by DeathStrike »

<RANT>

HI everyone.

I am so angry right now. :evil: i feel like SHOUTING. My co-worker is using Thunderbird to send emails to customers. As we are a business we need to send out emails all the time. A couple of months ago they got an email from a customer that uses this other email client, Incredimail, and all of a sudden she could not send any emails. :evil: I had to struggle for a few days and eventually found out that it was this stupid incredimail banner at the bottom of the message. So i have to copy the text out of the email and then delete the email and then everything was fine. Pasted the email text into a new message and reply. all good. Now the problem is that we have had this happen a few times already and it is seriously a waste of time. Why can't these idiots fix their code? :evil:
</RANT>
Anyone here have this issue already? and found a way to fix?

maybe set up a filter server side that converts all mails from incredi mail clients to plain text instead of html?

I frequently receive email from a particular user who uses Incredimail. Whilst the background and emoticons are irritating like few things on this planet, I've never experienced your particular issue.

can't really do this as the server is hosted at hetzner.

But is there anyway to set this up on the local computer? perhaps with a program?

Deathstrike, this forum is also hosted by hetzner, Ron doesn't fly to Germany to work on it. I don't see how location affects your access?

I believe Hetzner techies will be able to assist you on this one, might just be a filter issue
