Re: Need a new graphics card
Well AGP cards are expensive and rare.
You would be looking at a new machine in all honesty as you are a few too many generations behind.

Re: Need a new graphics card
Best would be a new system, but if you can only afford a graphics card, then the ATI 5770 would be your best bet as Ryan said. Hopefully your power supply will be able to carry the load, but it should be ok I think.

Re: Need a new graphics card
I would say the HD5970 is the best value for money and will be good for 5 years at the very least

I don't really care. There is a board for useless banter, then there is this one out of some others that should be kept free of jokes. Kapish?KALSTER wrote:He was "effen" jokin'.

Re: Need a new graphics card
To the OP, bottom line is, if your PSU will handle the card then go for an HD 5770. It will definitely tide you over until you do a complete system upgrade, and it will be about 100 times better than your onboard graphics...
