Re: opening folders
Right click and save this: Registry entry
I have found sometimes that the settings dont accept when you do it from folder options.

Re: opening folders
sorry for being dof, but how do i get it to install ?
i get the following error when trying to import from within regedit:
"Cannot import c:\blah blah blah...: the key selected is invalid."
if i double click the registry entry i get :
"the secified file is not a regisrty script, you can only import binary registry files from with the registry editor"
hence my first problem.

Re: opening folders
Before you try that - I assume you have tried the Open Explorer, Tools, Folder options, and on the General tab - under browser options select Open each folder in the same window. This has always worked for me. No need to edit the registry under normal circumstances.

Re: opening folders
toggle it to off. Restart your machine. Toggle it on and apply to all folders.
