I, for one, object to being labelled a serial spammer. ryan's alcoholism is well publicised both in South Africa and in Auckland (so c0d3r tells me), but I have never been accused of spamming anything.jamin_za wrote:Put it to you this way... Stuart is a serial spammer and general nuisance and I have it on good authority that ryanrich is a violent alcoholic. We don't need them.
But I'm just one voice...

Re: New forum moderators
Listen, all of you PM'ing me telling me to take it to the mod lounge, don't waste your time. I'm not even going to reply to your PM's.
These new mods were suggested and rushed into business before I could even blink. My one post stating my grievances was blatantly ignored in the lounge. Hell, only 4 mods gave the thumbs-up and suddenly we have 2 new mods. At least have the decency to leave the suggestion up until all the mods have a say. How sneaky to slip it through over the weekend when most of the mods aren't even here.
edit @ Stuart: ya, laugh it up, ginger!

Re: New forum moderators
jamin_za, maybe, maybe not. At the end of the day it's still Ron's call. And unless I'm missing something, I'm only counting four active mods, and then of course the admins.
To put it bluntly, from a starting point, they both look better than when you started
Worst cease scenario, they get their rights revoked and/or banned.
Why does it even bother you?

Oh yes, run to the fascists... I mean admins with your little tail of woe.
You're not a bad guy, and if ALL the mods had agreed to this I'd back you too, but when it's just the little autocracy that has come into power these last few months, I have to say no.

Ron is a sycophant pandering to the whims of 3 or 4 "forum elite". He's there to do their bidding and thats that.
Anyone not cow-towing to these illuminati are just along for the ride and I'm tired of it.
This alone is not whats making me angry, this is one of many behind the scenes changes that you don't see and that most of the so-called mods and admins don't have a say in.
I'll take a stand now, thank you, regardless of how good you think the new mods look....

Re: New forum moderators
No, but well done for missing the gist of my post.
I know we always tell you guys these forums aren't a democracy, but when it comes to the mods and admins decisions have always been subject to majority rules.
All of us were equal until recently, when some of us became more equal than others.

jamin_za, no offence, but in my mind some of you were always more equal than others. At least in admin/mod rights. Just for the sake of argument. How many combined mods and admins are active?

jamin_za
Jamin being all moronic ah I'm mean ironic.Jamin has more porn on his computer that the whole PCF combined.... Posts in/creates weird threads that skates on thin ice. This only shows that his is a sick twisted individual and is usually frustrated in more than one way.
Quick to diss people but say one word about his actions and then you get a warning or get the "broom stick"...
BTW that is just his milf.
So I more concerned about Jamin than stuart as a role model for kids on this forum.?

What you dont see is the last 20 or so moderator-made decisions which were done in exactly the same way.
1 of them makes a suggestion, the other 3 rubber stamp it and Ron pushes it through before anyone else has a say.
I stood up to them once before, but they were crafty and went public with the gripe and I was kind of forced to concede - so here I am doing te same and airing the dirty laundry

What is a real shame is that some one might stand up to you one day go over your head and you will sit with your behind on a pavement and locked out of the lounge.
Being a mod on this forum you are suppose to be a role model like it OR NOT even if it is a unwritten rule.Your behavior here is any thing but mature as in past and is unlikely to change in the future.
What is stopping any one here from going over Ron's head and reporting unruly conduct to some one who really cares what happens. But if you continue to act like a immature child I'll make it my personal vendetta to see you removed if you have some much gripe with it's members admins and mods.
BTW I have been following the thread since it was created and only saw fit to post now since your little immature rant is going no where.

Yeah, I see you blowing up, and you taking this very seriously, which as a mod you should be. Seriously, well done m8.jamin_za wrote:You see me blowing up mover this and you think "what does it matter"

However this is just an internet forum. So I ask you again, is it really something you should be getting so worked up about?

Define "getting worked up"GreyWolf wrote: is it really something you should be getting so worked up about?
Fine I am having a bit of a rant on the forum, but at home IRL I'm playing some music, just finished a Nando's quarter chicken meal and am planning to drink a few beers on the veranda with my flatmate. Hardly worked up at all.
I'm raging on the internet... IRL... meh.
I'd say 10 mods and admins check in here daily, another 10 at least once a week. So if they left the request for new mods up a week they would have had at least 15 replies.SykomantiS wrote: Just for the sake of argument. How many combined mods and admins are active?
But it wasn't up a week, it was up over the weekend, when hardly anyone is around - Suggested Saturday and then there was a decision made on the Sunday and implemented Monday.
The in-crowd and myself were the only people to see it before it got set in stone.

"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.
