Probably not for a while. Win7 runs well as is.

actually there is a certain logic to this. If tech heads deem it worthy of a crack, then the product may be considered worthy of use. No the cracked one mind you. Am I wrong?
It was already cracked, ages ago. So yes, it is worth purchasing which is what anybody who wants the OS should do @dad_hator. If you want free, stick with Linux...

SP1 will maybe hit some time next year at the end or early 2011. And as for cracked windows 7 isnt it that RC with the trojan in it? Best way to keep safe these days is to buy genuine things with stickers and seals and out of the box. OUT OF THE BOX! So see steam and drm fall under the catagory of STAY THE F*** AWAY.

It was a closely guarded secret, held in a penguin's lair just off Robben Island. Madfrog will probably be castrated in his sleep for telling you about it.

It's to illustrate that using Windows 7 can get any geek laid (or at least to impart such an illusion).

My first windows 7 error today. Login initialization failure. Atleast we still have reset buttons.

But I have had an annoying problem with my xonar card since I got the win7 retail. It would kill the sound from my front left and right speakers and only a restart will fix it. I had to restart my pc4 times to get my sound back. Thats very annoying.

Hey, still running my RC version till March, will deffinately get Win7 then. It is a lot faster than Vista, and visually stunning compared to XP. Well done MS for a change. Now for Service Pack 1 and 2 and 3....

We might only see SP2 and then windows 8 or w/e they call it. MS has decided on a 3 year replacement plan for windows. Just a heads up again my friend told me that as of next year windows 7 price is gonna increase. And with the Rand dropping it will become more expensive to us aswell.

So DSAO has Microsoft windows 7 Ultimate Upgrade (from home premium) listed on its site. I'm concerned about the "(from home premium)" part. Are there different upgrade packages? Will I not be able to upgrade from Vista using this version?

Edit: Can someone please change the title of this thread to "The Official Windows 7 Thread" or something.
