Hi Guys
I needed to change the MOBO of a clinets pc. The problem is when XP starts up it stays by the welcome screen for just over a minut before it loads completly. I tried to do a repair and still the same problem. Is there away i can fix this without formatting/re-loading.
Reason been is we get software developed from a company in sweden.
This software needs a license and has to be activated and each time
windows is installed the activation code will change, and to get this activation code from sweden takes forever as well as it works with the hardware of the pc and windows hdd serial.
I have installed all the drivers but still stays on the welcome screen for a long time.
XP takes forever to load

Was the replacement board the same as the original board?

Probably not.Monty wrote:Was the replacement board the same as the original board?
You can always try to go into device manager -> remove all of the devices and allow it to rescan everything.
