So, I drove over a Nikon Flash. Help please!
Hey guys
I'm not going to bother going into the details, but I drove over a Nikon SB-26 flash last night by accident, and It needs to be repaired or replaced. It still works, but the very bottom of it is busted - the shell is cracked. So I need to either replace the flash altogether, or have it repaired. I don't know anything about photography, so I don't know what is usually done in a case like this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Ouch.
Not sure if you can even buy the SB-26 new anymore...
If you need to replace it i would drop the helpful people at http://www.sacamera.co.za a call/email and ask their advice on availability and or a worthy replacement.
Be warned, new Nikon flashes start at around the R2000 mark and stampede upwards from there..

There are 10 types of people in this world.
Those who understand binary and those who do not.

Throw it away and claim from insurance

Now its the perfect time to replace everything with Canon.
Cant you find out from nikon who does repairs on their cameras if they dont fix it them selves.
Then just ask that company if you can buy a broken one from them. then just fix it your self.
You seem to mod everything why dont you mod it with perspex flashes are mostly squareish, Hehe!!
