Hi,
I've had alot of PCs with the same problem so I thought I might post a thread on how to resolve it, in order to help other people who may have the same problem in the future, not sure where to post it though
SIMPTOM
Under Windows VISTA/7, when you go into Network and sharing center or Control panel, windows Explorer will crash everytime
FIX
This is caused by Firebird 1.5
Go to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 and rename firebird2control.cpl to firebird2control.---
This will disable the Firebird controlpanel applet, thus enabling you to use Control panel and the Network sharing center once again....yay....
