Which Internet Browser is fastest for Windows?

Benchmarking 11 Internet browsers on one of the prototype NVIDIA Ion platforms.

To create the tests Futuremark used a profiler to analyze JavaScript usage while browsing popular websites such as YouTube, Facebook, GMail and Meebo. The profiler collected data on the frequency in which different JavaScript functions were called on these sites and Futuremark used this data to create specific weighted tests for each function. The end result is a benchmark and shows 'true' JavaScript performance on browsers that can be run on any operating system and platform as long as it can run JavaScript.

don't care how fast safari is. all the javascript problems i have to deal with at work cos of there browser makes them just as useless as IE.

Wow, I'm impressed by Safari and Opera.

I'm using FF 3.1 Beta3, and yeah, it's nice, quite noticeably faster than 3.0.7. Can't wait for 3.1 to be final :D
That guy that used to mod cases. Now I take photos. True story.

peacekeeper scores based on rendering speed, (as if this were any sort of test for stability, security and functionality)... so, machines with top notch GPUs score higher than those with dinky on-board solutions. and this is a benchmark? :?

Yeah, I'm using FF 3.1b3 as well, glad to see it's that much faster.

I knew Opera 10 beta was fast, but not THAT fast. Nice.

I'm using, opera and it's fast. Downloading Safari 4 now to see how much better/worse it is. I hate IE and the latest IE* is no different. Just as useless.

Same, I want to Safari 4 out.

I'm not a fan of Apple's products. iTunes, Quicktime and Safari all seem to annoy me by being overcontrolling. Their updates are just one massive pain as well.
