Signing up from Gmail

Is it possible to sign up from a gmail acc? My brother wants to sign up here and we don't use anything but gmail so yea, will be a pain to go make another account.

No. I tried too. They don't like Gmail or Hotmail or Yahoo.

You need to pm ron or one of the other admins. Sign up from free email accounts was disabled years back because people would cause trouble, get banned and sign up with another email account and a new user name. At least i think thats the reason.

Due to abuse from free e-mail accounts (we were having issues where banned users would re-register and cause problems again), the decision was taken to ban all free e-mail accounts.

Our position is non-negotiable regarding this, and under no circumstances will any exception be made.

A bloody admin cannot have enough faith in a user that's been around for 5 years and 8k posts to CREATE ONE MEASLEY ACCOUNT for someone he knows. OMG it's bullcrap. Even places like XS give you better help.
