Vodacom only though, but check this out:

Vodacom only? There's no reason for them not to send to the other networks if they're using a remotely decent WASP.
On the good side, it means I won't be annoyed considering I'm on MTN.

Doesn't seem to cost anything. I just tested it now and it didn't cost me anything. Doesn't make much sense, so it should be tested further.

Well, after receiving about 10-15 messages from facebook today, I haven't been charged a cent.Prime wrote:maybe, though i'm not convinced
I left it on default settings though, and received far too many notifications. Need to adjust my settings

No, think about it.
Only for Vodacom? How many people are going to get Vodacom simcards now that there's this option?
Don't get me wrong, but I smell something fishy going on here...

Nope, not on a data bundle, but that's not relevant though because data bundles have nothing to do with text messagePrime wrote:are you on a data bundle?

From what I've gathered, it only charges for sending the sms's, not receiving themFailBook wrote:You can text Facebook to update your status, message your friends, or send a poke on the go. You can also choose to receive texts with messages, pokes, and wall posts from your friends right when they happen. (Standard text message rates apply.)
