Of course you will. I don't think I've even seen you NOT wearing a Blue Bulls shirt/jersey :P

Dudes, I'm so freaking sick, so I'm not going to be great company. I'm still coming, I'm just warning you guys in advance ;)

absolutely. though i am widely recognised as the forum vista fanboi, i think anyone would be insane to be using vista rather than 7 atm. rc1 is good for a year, so it's a really good bet right now.

I agree to an extent. I would definitely switch to 7 RC1 in a home use environment, but not in production. I use my private laptop for work since I'm a contractor, so I might just hold off on doing an upgrade until I've tested the compatibility of all my required programs, particularly VMWare Infrastructure Client...

Wow, it's extremely easy to disable activation entirely, which I've just done on my test install by disabling some services and deleting some files, so theoretically this RC could just be used indefinitely... The legalities of this are of course debatable, but since it's a public release it should be fine for now, or so I shall keep telling myself...

ADV4NCED, swine flu is probably the worst thing you can take to a Mugg & Bean...

nah, just kidding. Personal experience for me with 7 has been pretty good. I haven't had a single bluescreen, boot up is much faster than that of Vista, and general performance in software is great. Adobe programs work, so that puts a smile on my face and video encoding or rendering with Flash and Premier is pretty awesome speeds. I wouldn't say wow I can see a huge difference, but it does seem faster.

If Microsoft release Windows 7 as it is now, I will use at as my primary operating system from the word go. I'm currently using the RC as my primary, and I have never had a regret. Even running the 64bit version hasn't caused any hickups. Hell, I'm yet to find an error on Win 7.
