Background design suggestion

Post by GrimStoner »

Hi

Have a look at http://www.twofold.co.za/mydaniella_demo.

I shamelessly used a (wedding) template for Joomla for this page. Since I'm not a designer, but a developer, the necessary skills to get an appropriate background texture eludes me.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I see you have a clear background now - it looks nice and fresh.

Sorry... Let me clarify...

I'm referring to the background behind the main content... Not the white background, this : http://www.twofold.co.za/mydaniella_dem ... hearts.gif

trib, your screen must be set too light, because the background, even in your screenshot, is not blank. the background is like this ...

which is very light, granted, but it's still a funny hearty image

You were right - my monitor was way too bright. Get rid of that background immediately. It looks so much better white     I really couldn't see it on mine. And I preferred it that way

Change the background to a solid blue or something. Will look much better. I don't like the patterns.

< Developer

When you say blue I hear #0000FF.

I'll try some pastel-ish blue...

I used to be like that and then I started doing web development with a graphic designer next to me. It helps.
