Hi there. Is it possible to install XP on an Acer Aspire A110 netbook from an OEM version copied from old laptop? I do not use the laptop anymore becaise its screen is stuffed. I have a license for the OEM XP in c:\i386
If it is possible, will XP not struggle with the SSD drive? SSD Drives has very fast read speeds, but very slow write speeds!
Also, I will need to obviously boot from USB drive and install from there. Is there easy steps in creating booting usb drive and install Windows XP easily?
Will any USB drive work? I have Transcend 2gb drive.
Thanks guys!

Not legally, no but you can tell them you have replaced your mobo (I do not advocate this).
No it will not struggle.
You can install from a USB stick-google it.
should do yes, but make sure the BIOS picks it up.

Soon Google will know everything...including how to divide by zero

There you go, this is the method i used about a week ago, works wonders all the tools are located in the video description. It did take about 40min to install a full install not a nLited install. It doesnt struggle at all with windows although it can be better with more ram but not essesntial.
