Just checked www.futuremark.com and it looks like it will be ready for download in a couple of hours. Unfortunately I wont stay up this long, but we can use this thread for post your benchmarks....
3DMark05 Minimum System Recommendations/Requirements:
* DirectX 9 compatible graphics adapter with support for Pixel Shader 2.0 or later, and graphics memory of 128 MB or above.
* x86 compatible processor with SSE support, 2GHz or above
* 512 MB system memory or more.
* 1.5 GB of free hard disk space.
* Windows 2000 or XP operating system with the latest Service Packs and updates installed.
* DirectX 9.0c runtime installed with the latest updates.
Let the battle begin....

Cant they just stop?? My CPU and RAM arent even enough... But my graphics card shall fill the void... Giving me about 50 3dMark05's Id say

I agree, that's exactly what I though when I heard it was being released. My new graphics card might not be as bad as some but I haven't even been able to get 3d Mark 2003 to run yet, keeps giving me an error.Slasher wrote:WOW...

I'll download it anyway just to see how bad my score is
I'd guess at least a few hundred megs, but no downloads are impossible for dial-up, even if it's just 56kScreeper wrote:how big is the download gonna be?

Although after hearing that cards like the 9600XT own the 5950 ultras in this test, then it can take its sweet-a$$ time as far as i am concerned. BTW how can they realease such a benchmark... if the benchamrks are so biased towards the ATI's (in terms of the older generation of cards)....

It's not biased towards the ATI cards - it's an accurate reflection of the NV3x shader performance (ie, crap)Although after hearing that cards like the 9600XT own the 5950 ultras in this test, then it can take its sweet-a$$ time as far as i am concerned.
