for 1 thing :: Dont worry too much about your 3dmark score... rather worry about your gaming skills :wink:

Seriously though ::

1. Get a better gfx card , the higher u want to go , the more you have to spend... Id say get yourself a FX5900 or if you can 6800Ultra ... most of your score is comprised by the graphics card in your system... However, also up your cpu as it can bottleneck a system... Celeron isnt the greatest , rather get a P4 3.0ghz 1mb cache, 800fsb etc... dont go Celeron... Minimum of 512mb ram , and if you then want more and want to risk having to buy new parts, get yourself some cooling on the system and start OC'ing it...

Sorry, but with that system you should be happy with that score...

I'm using a Geforce 4 Ti 4600, as you can see from my sig, and I get around 14000 in 3d Mark 2001 with everything at stock.

It has to be your CPU causing the bottle neck. From what I remember your 3d mark 01 score is based more on your CPU speed than your graphics card's abilities, but in 03 you get a better score if your card is better, it's not so as dependant on your CPU.

junjun, if you want to score better (in 3DMark that is) get yourself an Athlon 64 FX 55 and a GeForce 6800 Ultra... you won't be disappointed. :wink:

Seriously though, if you go the P4 route don't get a Prescott (or Pres-hot as they're fondly known), rather get a Northwood (although they're becoming harder and harder to find.)

Better yet, get yourself an Athlon 64 3000+ or 3200+. With regards to your graphics card, a nice FX 5900XT would do the job.

Benchmark2001Se

You need a better CPU :!:
2001se scores rely heavy on CPU :!:
Overclock your CPU and see your score fly :wink:

For GPU bench, try benchmark2003 8)
