(Ok, I'm putting this under Modding because i don't know where else to put it. )
I'd like to buy myself a decent airbrush. I want to use it to do my Case but also because its a skill I'd like to master and I might even be able to use it as a source of income.
I currently have a Badger 250 and 350. Both are signel action. the 250 is basically a spray gun. And the 350 is a single action Airbrush. this means that paintflow must be adjusted seperately rather than through the trigger. Both are bottom Feed. (Badgers product line hasn't changed in 20 Years it seems )
http://www.jeffreystein.co.za/badger.htm (And their list of dealers is for all their products)
After discussions with The Guy most knowledgeable at Herbert Evans, I've come to the conclusion that while I'd like to get another badger, parts are a huge issue locally. This leaves me with one other option, Aztek. (well there are a few other brands but their prices are way to high). The Aztek is the easiest to use apparently.
http://www.testors.com/product/137119/A ... rbrush_Set Is what i'm looking at. its about R1300 excluding the discount of 20%
II'm not sure about this one http://www.testors.com/product/137119/A ... rbrush_Set
The Aztek are all Side feed with is a huge bonus.
So does anyone have any thoughts and oppinions?

The double action is really easy to use and i bought mine from the states like 3 years ago from this site:

but they dont seem to sell Aztek anymore but i think that Aztek is def your best bet!

Re: Buying An Airbrush
Hey, a reply. Wow, thanks.
I'll see towards mid year. I'm currently spending my spare cash on hardware, a new case and better mobo.
My choices currently are either an aztec or an iwata. But i'm leaning towards the aztec. What paint do you use?

well if you thin it properly you should have no problems, consistency of milk is what you're aiming for
