Vista VPN SP1
Has anyone tried to connect to a VPN with Vista SP1. I am having some serious problems here. I keep on getting the below in event viewer. I have turned off all firewalls and made sure that the relevant ports are open.

Re: Vista VPN SP1
I've Googled this one, and it appears to be an encryption settings issue - try playing around with those settings.

Re: Vista VPN SP1
I'm on Vista SP1 and use Cisco's VPN Client V5.0 to connect to a client.
No hassles...
I doubt Vista is the problem, but I know you like blaming MS for everything

Re: Vista VPN SP1
Actually it is only if you connect with MS's own VPN stuff
Others actually work. Anyhow I have gone back to XP for the time being. Dual boot FTW.

Why would you do thatRuadRauFlessa wrote:Actually it is only if you connect with MS's own VPN stuff
It's like using IE as your browser, Outllook Express as your email client, and Wordpad to type up important documents
Sure they come free with the OS and they work, but there's much better stuff out there
