Re: Unformat a hardrive
when you say "accidentialy", what do you mean, exactly...
and was this a low level 'accidental' format?

Re: Unformat a hardrive
We use Active Partition Recovery Enterprise. (Partition and file recovery) It's not a high level industrial tool but I've managed to get info off from multiple formats. I don't think you can recover using the trial version but download the trial, see what it "can" recover and if you're happy you're gonna have to buy it. You get cheaper versions as well, like just file recovery, you won't need the full enterprise version.

Re: Unformat a hardrive
If you have a copy of Hiren's Boot Disk, there is an app on there called Activ@ (or something similar) that will recover your files. I used it when I "accidentally" reformatted my 500GB drive and I got every single file back in perfect working order.
Just make sure that you don't do anything on the PC that may write to the drive. Your data is still there, it just isn't being referenced in the hard drive's index. However, if you start writing to the drive, your data will be lost.

To solve it , check underneath your keyboard is a switch, flick it. Its only dangerous for people who dont risk stuff but you're obviously a dare devil so go for it.
