So suggestions and input are most welcome.
I will see what I can find about this particular cooler you are looking at.
I've seen one good review(9/10 coolers tested) where it performed quite well. I would go for the S1(which I think is a great cooler-or at least what I've read) but its a bit expensive here is good ol' SA). The Twin Turbo performed on par with the Zalman VF 1000 or close to it so I think I would be relatively happy with it except for a few flaws(the whole 5v,7v and 12v issue).

Was just curious if anyone here with a 88GT had fitted it and what their thoughts on it were afterwards.

EDIT: Found this----- http://www.legionhardware.com/document.php?id=773&p=2

Ok so i finally got the cooler and installed it(shoddily I might add :)
(Playing THE Witcher)
Old stock cooler : IDLE--56C LOAD--76C
AC Twin Turbo(7V): IDLE--42C LOAD--50C
AC Twin Turbo(12V): IDLE--41C LOAD--49C

So it looks like it could run it on the 7V with very similar results but seeing as its still quite quiet I think I will rather just leave it on the 12V.
Overall so far I am very happy.

EDIT: The cooler is honestly not that easy to install on a 8800GT as the additional heatsinks do not cover everything unless you cut and mod them. I has to cut all 4 of the provided pieces so that everything was covered and everything fit. Other than that it was pretty straight forward.

Hey sometimes they do take a bit of effort.
Wonder what my temps are at the mo...
*Opens speedfan*

54 for the GPU core.51 and 52 for the CPU cores.
Soon Google will know everything...including how to divide by zero :(

Honestly, not trying to be funny, but that's why i love water... my 8800GT never went over 40c on load whilst overclocked to 700/1000... and it's still quieter than a fan... now my 9800GTX+ doesn't go over 45c load overclocked to 840/1250...

soz, i know it's off-topic, but i just had to state that... LoL...

those are still good temps for air though..

Of course if I could put the money away for a decent watercooling setup then I would definitely give it a go :D
But times are a bit tough of late, and if I had to do it then I would want to do it properly.

I know exactly what you mean... i waited almost 2yrs before i found a watercooling setup i could afford that would make it worthwhile... ended up getting Firestrm's 2nd hand kit...
