ok, I am up for the challenge. Check out my specs in my sig, I get 18500 on 3D mark 01, and about 5000 on 3D Mark 03. No overclocking.MrBean wrote: Hope that somebody with a 9800series card would psuh me a little, but nothing. In 3dMark01 I am still lying 3rd or 4th, even in the open category, which aint to bad......
I want to oc my VPU, and I used radlinker to do so. Only managed like a one step increase in both mem/core speeds. Anything higher and artifacts started appearing.
Gonna try August issue cover disk. They have something called ATi Tool, will get back to you.

yo,
Yup, you can overclock the VIVO model to an XT. I have a HIS x800 Pro 256mb ICEQ II VIVo, that I have unlocked the pipes, and it is an XT now. It kicks serious bottom, and peaks at 50°C under full stress.
But these cards are limited editions, so if ppl want them, they better move their asses

Yo,
The price is R4200 all inclusive, plus R100 for courier fee's (anywhere in SA).
Check out their website : http://www.hisdigital.com/html/home.htm
These are serious kickass cards, coming from a gamer, not a slaesman.
To get the cards, pvt me and I will give you my cell no so we can speak. As I said though, act fast as we only have a few left and do not know when we will be getting more.
BTW, these cards come with the full package (cd's, connections for VIVO) and a 2 year warranty.
SO, what you waiting for?
cya
ps, get about 12800 in 3d mark with a x800pro o/c to an XT, on a 2.8 athlon

Good. Let me know when.ok, I am up for the challenge. Check out my specs in my sig, I get 18500 on 3D mark 01, and about 5000 on 3D Mark 03. No overclocking.
Just so you don't struggle to much, lets see.....you will need a minimum of 2.65 gig on that chip, and around 515gpu/425mem to reach 26000.
So, lets make it 2.80gig cpu, and 530gpu/438mem to equal/beat my 26516 3dMark01. 3dMark03 you will need same cpu speed, and around 560gpu/440mem speeds. And a well-tweaked system.
Aquamark: Your setup is to weak to beat the P4 here. You will need that cpu clocked to 2.7+ gig and a new X800 card to beat 60 400.
SuperPI: You will need very good ram, and 2.75gig to beat 32sec.
Of course, to get these insane clocks from a stock system, you will need:
1) VapoLS/Prometeia phase change on the cpu
2)Phase-change and good voltmods on the gfx gpu and mem.
3)Decent memory, which will give you 2-2-2-11 timings at around 240fsb.
Good fun......let the games begin....
Br,
MrBean.
Hehe, for some reason i felt a hint of sarcasm flowing through this one, or maybe its just me!MrBean wrote:Good. Let me know when.ok, I am up for the challenge. Check out my specs in my sig, I get 18500 on 3D mark 01, and about 5000 on 3D Mark 03. No overclocking.

greywolf - even if you manage a decent overclock on air you wont even be close to 3000 points behind MrBean - he has dual phase change cooling thus his overclocks are immaculate and i promise you that no other P4 user will come close - only the top phase changed amd setups or aircooled setups with nextgen graphics cards can beat his - and that says a lot - his 3dmark 01 is almost at 27000 so you would really have your work cut out considering that the most a majority of people can get out of overclcoking is around 2000 points and a much as i love amd im afraid that his P4 is too much of a beast for most setups unless they can have the ram and cooling that he has - and even then beating him isnt a certaintyGreyWolf wrote:ok, I am up for the challenge. average score with a 3200+ and a 9800pro with every tweak in the book would be around 20000 - and looking at your scores you are a fair bit short of that mark which tells me that you dont know every tweak beanie can pull out - hell even my 2100+ AXP did 20k with a 9800pro and that was over 8 months ago - so even with the 2000 points with aircooled overclocking you still would only be beating my AXP scores - and let beanie get his hands on a next gen card and its all over - you will be chasing ghosts
anyways beanie and myself may just be setting up an amd comparison test going and if my pocket can afford it a next gen graphics card too with all the voltmods and dual phase change cooling too to see if we can come up with some good scores with an amd setup and a comparitive P4 score to that amd system - watch this space
why oh why do people need to talk so much rubbishMy friend has a X800XT with PCI-E on a
AMD Athlon 3700 FX
2GB DDR500
He gets 13800 3dmark03 points.
=
R20000
firstly the x800xt you wont get here unless you have major contacts and i know loads of people with said such contacts who cannot get one of those for "love or money"
secondly the PCI-E version of the x800 is called the x880xt - and is at the moment vapourware since we are still a while away from its actual release - it still is a figment of anyones imagination for the moment
thirdly the boards to give you PCI-E for AMD based parts have not been released yet due end of this month and its called the crush k8 or CK8-04 so i dont know which bodypart your mate has his at the moment nonexistent as yet not released card connected to
fourthly there is no such thing as a 3700FX - the 3700 is a socket 754 part and is nowhere near being close to dual channel with the amount of L2 cache that an FX would have - nor is it multiplier unlocked as an fx series part is
fifthly DDR500 has the crappiest timings that you can imagine and even overclockable ddr400 that can work at 2-2-2-5 will pound it into the dust
so how the heck did he get that score again ? ..........or tell me did you just pull names and model numbers out of your bottom as you usually do here - no one is so gullible to believe your junk - so dont lie to impress people - and if you do want to lie then research a bit so you dont prove that you dont have a clue

ok fine, I was up for a little friendly competition, but I bow down to your superior overclocking skills and hardware... Untill I get myself my new system! I am talking socket 939 Athlon 64, 1GB of some expensive RAM and a Radeon X800 Pro! HA! then we shall see who is who and what is what!MrBean wrote: Good. Let me know when.

look frodo - or whichever zottie who is related to frodo you are - i never said anywhere that i know everything - and if some backwater company like HIS decides to go against ATI's grain then who am i to argue - even if they do exist - this clown here is totally offbase - anyways since there is no mobo that will give you PCI-E with AMD so take that and shove it down your throat - and if you cannot swallow it then spit itHIS_Distributor wrote:erm, ye naughty, sure....

BTW if you have sold 5 in total in a country which has a population of 48 million people if thart does not translate into "difficult to get" then i dont know what does and if you look at my statement above that is what i have said - that in "order to get it" which means you can get it "you will need the correct contacts" - learn to read and interpret the english language before trying to match wits with me and realising you are only firing on half your cylinders
even if it does exist the point is no one could have b3nched it in an amd system unless you are
1) lying
2) a stupid clown who doesnt have a clue
3) all of the above
and i think that you and this idiot here need a kick up the gonads if you are attempting to sell this stuff to amd owners when it is not supported by amd yet and belong in group 3 - in fact it is unethical even before it is stupid........and dont tell me it is up to the buyer to check
and who the heck said X800xts dont exist .......do you want to borrow my glasses when you read or do you want an appointment with an optician - id gladly pay for a pair of glasses for you since your eyesight seems to be failing.......in fact more than your brain seems to be fading - eat some carrots instead of continually stuffing them up your a$$ it may do you some good
my friend i was vissiting futuremark (when it was futuremark origionally and then became madonion and then got renamed back to futuremark) before you even hit the power button on a pc so dont tell me to check on the ORB for scores - ive even watched benchmarking records for 3dmark being smashed online live so i know what it takes to get high scores - and you dont seem to have the necessaary facililities to do that even with good equipment - talk is cheap - give us a compare URL and then talkGo to 3dmark03 website and see some of the scores the X800 gets!!!!
