Export problems with Freehand MX (11)

Hi guys.

I picked up a problem with Freehand MX. When you use the effects like glow and drop shadow on an object that is placed on an imported background, that was done in Photoshop, it pixelates the area below the effect.

I have set the Raster Effects settings to 300dpi but it still pixelates.

I have also found that when exporting files to EPS or TIFF that the imported photos etc also pixelate.

Any ideas?

From what to what resolution do you import?

300 DPI

I have tried everything and I ended up doing the effects in Photoshop. I then exported everything to PDF and it printed 100%.

Oh well. I would really like to use the effects in Freehand MX.
