What do you use for your 2D art creation \ manipulation needs? I mainly use Photoshop 5, Paint Shop Pro 7 and Photopaint that comes with Office 2000... It's not the best but graphics proggies are expensive!

I am not the best with graphics proggies. But when i get inspired by Greywolf, i use Photoshop 7. I feel its kinda difficult to use though...

Photoshop 7 for me. I want to get Painter, as I've been inspired by some of the amazing digital paintings out there. Need a scanner first though.

I use the GiMP 2
Those other programs are for groups of people with Money, or those that work in 'The Industry'. Neither of which I belong to.
PS. How about listing your favourite FREEWARE apps here aswell?

Macromedia Freehand MX for logos and other flat artwork.
Photoshop CS for editing photos (duh) etc
Macromedia Dreamweaver MX & Flash MX for web.
All of these are hell expensive but worth every cent.
Cheers
