OC
OC
I want people to post there incredible oc ways here.
For all you Athlon 2800+ , I OC mine from 2083mhz to 2300mhz (FSB 200 x 11.5 ) and it runs at 55C. I dont even have a mean cooling system.
AMD Athlon XP 2800 (FSB 200(400) x 11.5 = 2300mhz)
GA-7N400 Pro2 (nForce2)
1024DDR400 Dual Channel
Radeon 9600 Pro 128mb (440/600)
Audigy 2 ZS
80G + 160G Baracuda 7200rpm
DVD R / CDWR
Philips 109B5 19'
Logitech X220 2.1
Microsoft Multimedia keyboard
Logitech MX 500 Mouse
AOpen Black Case 350W
I now get 4150 3DMarks!(03)
First time I broke 4000.
Aquamark = 32000
200mhz and a little oc of my Radeon 9600 pro gives me perfect scores.
Maybe doom3 will work that little beter now.

E6600@2.9GHz, Asus8800 GTS, 2x2GB
Patriot DDR2 4-4-4-12 @ 900MHz
Does 200Mhz really make such a big difference?
Personally I have just never really understood the whole overclocking thing... maybe it's because I'm female and don't therefore have an instinct to push everything to bigger and "better", heh
Give your Athlon a nice cool drink with one of those little umbrellas in it over there, you don't want it to get too sweaty

I am assuming this includes graphics cards as well...
Just had a bit of fun with my FX 5900, got it to 460/932 (stock is 400/850)clocks, and I am now getting 5620 3DMarks in 2003. I figure I can probably get it to 475/960 before the volt mod . I have a feeling breaking 6000 wont be much of an issue....
As for processors, does overcloking my old PIII 450MHz (R.I.P.) to 600 MHz count. Damn i was proud of that back in the day...
EDIT: And yes Leigh I think its a bit of a 'man' thing. All i know is that once you start its difficult to stop... until you !#%& your hardware up that is....

LOL Yeah I knew this one guy who didn't sort out his cooling properly, and literally melted his brand new P4 chip 8O-ASSASSIN- wrote:EDIT: And yes Leigh I think its a bit of a 'man' thing. All i know is that once you start its difficult to stop... until you !#%& your hardware up that is....

Lol, when I read the subject title, I thought it was about Orange County (the tv programme on GO) ... :)

Lol - OC is cool, although a bit of a soapie sometimes
On my old CPU (XP 2500) I could get it up to 3200+ speeds without any issues - 2200mhz, 400mhz FSB. Haven't really messed around with OCing my new CPU (XP 3200, multiplier locked) because I am ram limited.
My X800Pro I have taken up to 550/550 without any problems... I'm pretty sure with a volt mod I could take it up higher, though.

Well i get my 2500+ up to 2350mhz quite easily... Thats with transcend DDR400 at around 220 mhz odd FSB. That with the stock cooling... and a deskfan blowing into the case. It's pretty much RAM limited, but i have booted to 2400Mhz a few times and ran Prime for about 30-40 minutes or so... Never been able to boot beyond that. I need to get myself some good performance RAM as well as a nice aftermarket cooler.

Well, my system is the only Intel here , so here goes.I want people to post there incredible oc ways here.
Stock speed is 3.2gig.
Max stable SuperPI clock is 4.43gig.
Temperature running -10 deg Celsius (VapoLS)
GFX card is a 9800XT Gigabyte.
Max clocks are 560mHz gpu (411 stock)
Memory 440mHz (365 stock)
GPU is cooled by my VapoPE setup, and runs full-load at 560 mHz around -6 deg C. That is with GPU voltage at 2.00 (1.75 stock)
This setup is one of only 3 P4 Northwood/9800 combos in the world to make 26000 3dMark 01....26 516 to be exact....

On my last setup, with my AMD XP 2400+ and DFI Lanparty NFII Ultra motherboard and 1Gb DD333 RAM I managed the following using Thermaltake Volcano 12E HSF and AS5 Paste.
FSB: 225Mhz
System Bus: 450Mhz
DDR Ratio: 1:1
Multiplier: 11
Clock Speed: 2480Mhz
Scores:
Super Pi 1Mb - 42seconds
Sandra 03 Memory - 3457Mbps / 3235Mbps
Sandra 03 Arithmetic - 9459MIPS / 3910 MFLOPS
Sandra 03 Multimedia - 22770it/s / 22931 it/s
From what I remember my temps. were in the low fortys.
With my current system I've managed 2.4ghz and 41seconds super Pi. I can't remember the exact details of that one since my RAM was causing problems so as soon as I get more I'll see how much further I can push it
