Post by DarkRanger »

Hi guys,

I want to know if someone can show me how to do this:

That green background with the light lines through it.

I want one that is blue with the light lines! PLEASE help me out. Thanks! :)

Can't you just get a blank one and change the hue so that it's blue?

Or do you want to do it from scratch?

maybe make a solid line that curves, then add a drop shadow with the desired colour, and apply the appropriate amount of opacity and the correct direction along with just enough distance and size etc.

edit, now that i look at it it also seems to be a gradient, from a darker left bottom corner to a brighter top right corner, so add a gradient in that direction on the background.

So try your theory and show us the result.

You could possibly also make layers of white, you then erase with a hard brush to make the hard edge and use a wide soft low opacity brush to erase the gradient part.

If you had CorelDraw you could make a object and use the transparancy tool.

Ellipse Tool
Gradient Layer Blending Option
Layer Opacity Changes
Gradient layer on top to blend it a little
Time and a little clever thinking :D

took that green background, took the smudge tool, set the size to 13, and hardness to 50, and then smudged the whole think. That green background with text and all, smoothed it out. Then gaussain blur at 20px.
