Hi all,

I just recently started playing MTG, and was wondering if anyone on this forum plays, I am looking to have a tournie at my place which would be sanctioned by DCI and there would be DCI Judges from outer limits there as well.

Also just looking for people to maybe trade with in JHB.

I have a whole lot of cards if you are interested in buying? I stopped playing due to there being no time what with work, g/f, pc gaming and g/f. BTW there is a thread about MTG somewhere...

i'm learning to play. still not at the stage where i want to purchase cards though. so sorry, maybe in the future.

Knuckles used to play, only he's in the UK now...

i'm learning to play. still not at the stage where i want to purchase cards though. so sorry, maybe in the future. Knuckles used to play, only he's in the UK now...

I have been been playing for about the last 7 years (on and off anyway)... I have briefcases of cards that I don't use at all anymore...

A tourney sounds like a good idea, but maybe setup a few "practice" games with a few groups of people first.... That way you can get used to the multi-deck builds and multi player game configs first...

JMO...

I would have to make that list first could take me a long time. They are all from kami series and a few series from kami...

I'll talk to my brother's but they may be interested in selling their decks. We have about...8 decks worth of cards, if you like you could check them out and see if there's any you'd like.

I had a friend who went to tournaments at the comic shop at heathway shopping centre. don't know if that still goes on, but might be a good place to start...

Kewl sounds good, I have 2 decks red/green and white/green

It's pretty hectic... the King sits with a thousand card deck, the Guard has about 200 and the Soldier has a 65 to 75 card deck... The whole point is to "kill the king"... but you have to get through the guard and soldier first... and the king has a huge amount of HP...

Ok Guys dates are set.

Gonna be have the first tournament on The 9th of this month being this saturday at my place.

Time's: Registration starts 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Cost: R20 entrance fee.
Prices: Will be Boosters as well as select foil cards.
Judges: There will be a DCI Judge there mediating.
Address: PM me for the addie

Type: Standard. Will try run an extended if there is enough interest.
