The two most likely explanations are:
Your cookie settings.
You're behind a cluster of proxies with widely differing IP addresses. (I'd be interested to know if those experiencing this issue are using the SAIX proxy servers, because this is a problem with SAIX and their international transparent proxies.)
I'm using a SAIX account (without a proxy) at home and an IS account at the office, and am not experiencing this.

I've just made a code change that may sort things out if the second issue I mentioned earlier is the problem.

A surprising amount of modern pseudoscience is coming out of the environmental sector. Perhaps it should not be so surprising given that environmentalism is political rather than scientific.

Has this not got anything to do with the domain name change? I remember someone saying it's now netmag.co.za, and I know that when I click on Papercut's links (he uses the E3.0 domain, I use PCFormat.co.za) I get logged out.

Yes, and that's because the cookie that stores the session information is bound to a specific domain.
To the guys experiencing this issue - what domain are you using?

I am using pcformat.co.za, with a Webafrica connection, and using dsl-cache.saix.net:8080, and have had no logging out issues whatsoever.
But I am using Vista.
