Unfortunately, yes.

I have some old stuff that was done in Delphi (2006, I think) which is still .net 1.1

It's a pain to fix though. Sometimes crashes and it is normally incompatible with IE7. You need a reg patch to get Delphi to work if you have IE7 on the machine.

jee, firstly let me say Im in no way slating the job offering, so please dont take this the wrong way. But why is the salary offered so low for the developer position? For the experience they want...I dunno...seems a little too low. Would have thought by looking at the skills requirements, the position would offer a bit more?

As I said, im not shooting down the job posting, more of a query. Have the market values for IT jobs gone down? Sorry...bit off topic...

Ok, kewl. Kinda sad me thinks. If this is the trend...its a bit worrying as Im in the field. Makes me think that I will reach a price ceiling at my line of work. Not a good thing if this is true. Eish...maybe I should think of Management for the near future, and move out programming a bit. I dunno :?

On topic...good luck to the applicants, sounds like a nice job. Delphi aint sooooo bad. I enjoyed it back in the day ;)
