Morning Mike! Thanks alot dude! And yes a lot of effort went into this! PC was down for just over a month.
here are the pics :
Google sketchup design:
Steel once it arrived: The fans were stripped and sprayed white:
somemore fans I sprayed. I kept them in the packaging and they looked as though I bought them white:) The pic with the cooler was the replacement fan mod I had to do to as the zalman cooler came with a blue fan. So i bought that pwm red fan and used a dremel to cut the back side to shape and fit it onto the cooler, I also had to cut groves in the back to house the cable:
I used a small engraving machine at work as a CNC router to cut the zalman fan grills and my badge for the side window:
The engraver was also used to cut clear plexi-glass off cuts from the side panel to house a fan inside the case above the CD-ROM to bring extra airflow through the CPU area:
Ram cooler:
A clear vinyl was used to get the original stickers to sit flat again, as you will see in the image above they were wanting to lift.
The piece of ABS plastic I bent and wrapped in carbon to hide all the nasty wires on the bottom of the board for the Case audio,USB, Power switches and the likes. As explained earlier the plate is bare for now but i will be adding something to it in the near future:
The below photo shows the installation of the plate, please ignore how skew its sitting I had not yet fixed it on the right hand side. The same image also shows where I mounted the top right fan housing I made for the extra airflow. This was still on my rampage 3 board:
Hope you like em!
