Setting up a Vista PC on a XP pro network , HOW ???
Ok, there is one Vista Business 32bit PC that I need to get on to a Windows XP network, with full file share and visability both ways. And I tried GOOGLE, nothing I got there was of much help. there was the one , but I do not want to pay $39 for a how to guide .. ANY help would be apreciated...
im not sure i follow, ive got a vista pc and it worked communicating with xp machines, basically the same as xp, set he ip range to be the same, set the file sharing, should work fine..thats how i got my one working. i didnt notice some option when you right click the network icon then choose connect to, and it will show you a list of the networks that it has recognised which it is connected to.
when in doubt, paddle out...
