Re: VCR Replacement?
I have an LG DVD recorder that has a HDD in it. It does exactly what you're expecting.thrillseeker75 wrote:my video machine packed up and now looking for a replacement but i dont wana buy another vcr, is there some kind of device that can record tv to a HDD. can those dvd/HDD recorders record live tv like sabc 3?
If you're at all interested, I'll tell you what the model number is once I get home. But that will only be at around 20:00 or so.

Yeah, I got me one of those too. 320GB HDD. Record TV straight to HDD or DVD, though I've not yet done so to DVD. Crazy thing is, blank DVDs are cheaper than VHS tapes!Ron2K wrote:I have an LG DVD recorder that has a HDD in it.
