All my games run just fine, including GFWL titles like Arkham Asylum, Bioshock 2 and DiRT3. I don't know what happened to your install but everything's running perfectly well here. I don't have Physx enabled because I'm running an HD6870, but I'm pretty sure what you have is a combination of a software and hardware issue. Where to start looking is anyone's guess though. If Windows 7 runs just fine, then its probably driver-related.StarBound wrote:Borderlands 2, Far Cry 3, any GFWL game.
Borderlands 2 with physx enabled any time it starts using it the game slows down tremendously on windows 8.
Far Cry 3 the game just runs noticeably slower.
Non of my GFWL games wanted to work eg batman could not save, Age of Empire Online didn't even want to run.

Re: Windows 8 Release
I know borderlands 2 takes a knock, otherwise everything is pretty much equal.
And i want to see how much of a knock it takes if i use a 560ti as a physx card.

Today, the latest Steam hardware survey results are in for the month of February 2013 and it shows that Windows 8 is now ahead of Windows XP among its user base.

Re: Windows 8 Release
Windows XP does not have DX11. Would like to see how much of XP went to 7 and 8.
