Bunny with a pancake on its head... aka I have been shown up and have nothing more of value to contribute, so here is a pic of a bunny with a pancake on its head
Thanks for playing.
Stiggie - no smiley posts in the techie threads please - thanks brosef.

Edit: pffft and I fixed your spelling for you.
I might not be an uber linux geek, but that has nothing to do with my previously stated reasons for using windoze. I still know how to do everything I need to do in Linux, I've got no desire to patch the kernel or anything else in that vein.

Re: Windows 8
This is windows 8, it has nothing of value to contribute so therefore the bunny with pancake is perfectly justified.......M$ should make that the win 8 logo
I foresee that Win 7 will live on and that win 8 will be adopted only by the gullible

Re: Windows 8
But now it has some touch interface bs. I just dont see that catching on in the desktop world and the mobile market is dominated by andrioid, I dont think people will trade that for a windows OS

Not sure if clueless or just trolling...THE_STIG wrote:the mobile market is dominated by andrioid
It seems all you want to do in Linux is play games. But Linux is crap at that so you are going to bash an OS that isn't until such time as Linux can catch up, all the while using the OS you purport to hate.I still know how to do everything I need to do in Linux
You are at best a hypocrite and at worst a hapless simpleton who has no business discussing the topic at hand -
either way, please enjoy your Windows experience
I bet you spend more of your personal computer time in Windows than you do in Linux on a daily basis which makes your uninformed ranting all the more hilarious.

Re: Windows 8
iOS has the most, really now
Android still has a decent share of the market, far more than MS has and I doubt windows 8 will change that

Interesting graph that. Huawei has their own operating system?

iOS == butchered *nix
android == butchered linux
<insert stupid monicker here> == butchered linux
it's all the same ruddy rubbish... why the need to claim these distinctions?

Let's load it up with a customised version of linux and we'll call it WigglyBoobs!

Will it be touch based?rustypup wrote:Let's load it up with a customised version of linux and we'll call it WigglyBoobs!
Linux is for grownups who don't play games anyway, so just stick to Windows.

Yes, I intend to but that does not mean we must move on to the garbage known as windows 8Stuart wrote:Linux is for grownups who don't play games anyway, so just stick to Windows.

Re: Windows 8
You don't even know yet that the final product will be garbage. Windows 7 was pretty rubbish in early beta phases.THE_STIG wrote:Yes, I intend to but that does not mean we must move on to the garbage known as windows 8

You'll have to provide the source link as proof, Stig.
