Some of those tweaks look good. Actually I saw the one flaw last night, but did not take notice and that the L96 did not show scope glint. I was looking for the guy shooting at me and could not see his scope's glare, then he shot me.

I wonder how big this thing will be???

Yeah what I thought after my post as well.

It's looks huge, but all those things should be small tweaks in the code.
If the last Karkland patch was 3.9GB, then this one should be like 1GB or less.

I jumped into a 64 player game, level was newly loaded and ... I got no kills whatsoever... I suck at sniping so I am generally the Assault or Engineer type...

I just spent 20 minutes on a server without getting a single kill. Just had to dig up this post to help heal my ego.

haven't played in quite a while.

I stop playing, then play 1 or 2 games and then I realize why I stopped playing.

I'm getting bored with BF3 now.

Reached my goal for the sniper of getting a 1200m+ head shot. I guess I'll go back playing assault of engineer. But going from sniping to close quarter combat will be a big change.

OMG... I just have to vent a little.
There is a massive bug in the game IMO. I have been inactive for some time and now back for about a week in the game.
I have acquired a liking in the Support class. There is one problem though. The stupid bi-pod. When I want it to deploy it does not. When I want to just aim down the scope the stupid bi-pods deploy, taking time and costing me my life. But when I want it to deploy it does not and I end up spraying more than a virgin on his wedding night !!

Anyone else still playing and excited about the Close quarters DLC ?

Is it free? Thats the only way the dlc will get me back into that game. Sadly I am more of a CoD player and I am yearning for the next good CoD game. Looks like they will be doing a good one every 3-4 years.

Well seems like the days of free DLC is over and dead.
I also like COD a lot. But the last couple have been a little bit of a waste of money. Hopefully COD:BO 2 will be something different and new and awesome. Until then I am gonna do the Battlefield thing untill Diablo 3 .. Hopefully that will keep me busy for the next decade

I just get killed by jets, I have not tried out the jets that much......

I have had that happen more than once now

I can sort of snipe, but am hopeless with the assault/engineer class.....maybe it is just that I am only at lv10 and have not used the assault class enough to get a new weapon.

I am only good with Support coz i waste ALOT of ammo...plus i can use C4!

I have been playing with the support class lately, seems to work for me since I can spray and pray at close range

I have been using the UBQ 88 sniper but have realised that the SKS which I got as part of the bf 3 limited edition thing actually works better for me. Came first in my squad with 13 kills and 7 deaths, happy I was

I play assault class mostly and I use the AEK and M16A3 a lot. I've found really good class setups with each of the guns that will guarantee success. On the M16A3 I use an Underslung, Heavy Barrell and Reflex. The reason I chose not to go with the foregrip on the M16A3 is because it increases bullet spread at range which decreases damage. on the AEK I go the same setup and it works perfectly as well Try it out dudes, you'll be impressed. And is it me, or do support players never drop ammo xD

Just played an epic 2 hour long conquest on Noshar Canals (I know its spelled wrong)...20 000 points and only came 6th...if only it was on PC

I am somewhat tired on conquest, since you just get owned by jets, helicopters and tanks the whole time. Death match is the way to go, and that knives/pistols only server is huge fun
