Cause I live like 180 kilometer from the shop :P

It was cheaper than buying it where i live and shipping is free, so I'll survive the 2 extra days.

see there was/is a bit of a scare for some CE orders that may be delayed.

I could only see that it was BT Games that was affected so hopefully my Kalahari pre is still good and get it on 14th.

hell even 15th would suit me.

Diablo 3 Official!!!

Post by Monty »

With D3 around the corner, lets ask the most important question!

Who are you going to start playing with?

I'm going to start with my barbarian. Yay!

about same as Ana.

1st char in Beta was the Monk but after I got a taste of the double axe/sword cleave with the Barbarian, I just can't turn my back on it.

Actually changing my order to this:

Barbarian, Witch Doctor, Monk, Wizard, Demon Hunter.

Reason for changing, the Barb & Monk are similar in that they are close fighting characters. At least with the change up it will keep things interesting. From what I have seen of the Witch Doctor he might be my fav character. Loved the Necromancer in D2 and the Witch Doctor seems similar with regards to minions. Demon Hunter looks a tad boring... :/

If the Beta is anything to go by, yes its boring. :|
Dual wielding two crossbows was fun though. Way too little damage with a single crossbow.

My order:
Wizard, barbarian, witch doctor, monk, demon hunter.

After all consideration I am still going with the demon hunter as my main and going with the barbarian as my 2nd because out of all 5 classes his attacks are the most environmental destructive :P Fun with physics. Or is that with physx?

I'm sold on playing the Monk, if only because I PUNCH THE AIR and things FALL DOWN.

Seems pretty clear everyone know why they want to play the one class over the other and it comes down to how you play and not what you play.

not sure how the WD would handle inferno... :/ his armor is nowhere near that of the others, (in the beta, at least)

inferno will require some superb kit given that you cap just before/after starting it....

i suspect barb will be the first to clock the game... that leap is like an eject button...

Isn't the expected time to clear normal a good 24-30 hours? Which means first inferno will be around 70-90 hours then from the sound of it it might take twice that long to clear inferno.

I have no idea, but I'm really hope normal is longer than that.

Although, i cant remember how long it took to clear normal on Diablo 2, so if normal Diablo 3 takes as long to clear as normal Diablo 2, I'll be happy :D
