Case cooling vs HAF

Post by ineedmoney18 »

yo guys

am planning to buy a new case so I thought what the hell lets over mod my old one.

But my current question if I cut and drill and shove some 120mm and 200mm fans in mid range case will it be close to 1 of the cases in the HAF series?

The airflow is similar though....

Also is the HAF 932 worth the R400 more than than the HAF 922 ??

yebo, i got the 922, and giving an objective answer is easy, even with relatively high ambient temp, the airflow in the 922 is such that the components are cooled enough to never get to hot, and that is without me trying to do anything else to keep it cool, and just let the 922 do it's thing.

I have the HAF 922 and the airflow is just amazing through them ... not sure about the HAF 932 but i definitely recommend 922 ... i would say the case temps with running everything on max load stays in the low 50s

I'm also looking at getting the 922. I assume you bought extra fans for the side and bottom? And what kind of fans did you get?

You clip in hardware. No more screws except the initial mainboard and psu. You have more than enough space for a big graphics card. Although maybe the high end cards these days are standard size to say.
