windows xp pro sp2

motherboard bios is up to date, same problem occurs in windowed mode. Using my brother's pci-e card everything works fine.

I don't want to reinstall windows, because this is just a temporary measure until my replacement arrives in a week or two.

Yes. I've been playing it for ages on a 192 connection. I'm using an unshaped account though, so i'm not sure how it'll be on a shaped one.

We will not be getting local servers. I can guarantee that. Not even Australia got their own servers. I'm playing the game on US servers just fine on adsl unshaped 192. And if you want to really increase your performance in the game, make sure you have 1gb of ram. That made a huge difference for me....
