its an all in one chat prog irc aim icq msn yahoo etc. there are 2 versions the free one pretty much full feature then of course there is the pro version. the free one does encyption file transfers you name it.

or you can try www.skype.com its a ICQ meets VoIP thing and its free.

We generally use redhat 8 on out servers although my new mox is running on 9

Oh bondi my 17" Superdrive notebook should be on my desk by lunch tomorrow :) will give you all the specs when I have it but for now 17" superdive 1gig ram should do it :) oh remember its the new spec :)
